Dixie Webb, owner and chief instructor of Double Dragon Dojo,
started karate training in 1974 while a nursing student at East
Tennessee State University. She received her first degree black belt in
1980.

She currently holds a fifth degree in Isshinryu Karate and is an avid
competitor, having placed first in many tournaments.  She has been
regionally ranked in the NASKA circuit and the TKC and continues
to compete and place in competitions.  
In addition, she also studies
Okinawan Kobudo- Shorin-ryu under Gordon Shell of Murasaki
Weapons.


Yoga is an integral part of the training at Double Dragon and was
chosen as a main exercise to increase strength, flexibility, and  
balance.  Webb Sensei holds the 200 hour certification in Yoga and
r
egistered with Yoga Alliance.  

She has studied Tai Chi and Chi Gong for several years and
continues her education with Master Croley of White Oak Institute.

She is married to Alan Webb, Director of Planning for the city of
Kingsport,
and has a son Charles Nathan Hagy. She is presently a
Registered Nurse having served as an emergency and trauma nurse
for
over 30 years. Starting Double Dragon Dojo has fulfilled a
lifelong career goal.

Double Dragon Dojo was established in July of 2003.
